I'm still on a pickle with the whole personal thing about this book. I'm not talking about the design anymore. I'm talking about the questions themselves. "What will you miss about tech" This doesn't really tell us anything about that person. I mean really, I have more that I'll miss from *outside* of tech. And a lot of the other questions only deal with this facade that we all put on at school - "Why will we miss you?" "Best known for", etc.
Suggestion: Add some deeper questions, something that might tell you more about a person.
"If you try to fail, and you succeeded, did you just fail or succeed?"
As tripe as that question seems when you read it, you'll be amazed at how different the answers are and how much they can tell you about different people. Some will go really deep, and some will just say "You just fail, badly".
"When was the last time you cried?"
Sure, some people are gonna pretend to be macho and say they've never cried before (on the contrary, it tells you quite a lot), but the real answers can reveal a LOT about a person if you read it with a mental capacity any larger than a 14 year-old and don't just go "HAHAHA you cry at night".
What would you have played at your funeral?
What/Who is your favourite _______?
If you could change one thing that happened in your life, what would it be?
What does Tech Pride mean to you? What do you fear? You had a million different questions you could have asked, why did you choose the ones that you ended up with?
